Core principle
Faculty names, courses, sections, rooms, constraints and generated timetables imported or created by users are generally processed offline on the user’s Windows PC and are not sent to CampusTimekeeper’s operating servers.
1. Operator and scope
CampusTimekeeper is operated by Cellamount Inc. This policy applies to the Windows desktop app and official website. External services such as Microsoft Store may apply their own privacy policies.
2. Information that may be processed
Timetable data, including faculty, courses, sections, rooms, teaching times, rules and results, is processed and stored locally. Microsoft handles account, payment, subscription, free-use status, license verification and diagnostic information under its own policies; the app may check necessary subscription and license status. Website hosting may process IP addresses, access times, browser and device details, requested URLs, and error or security logs. Inquiries may include names, affiliations, contact details, messages and attachments supplied by users for replies and record management.
3. Purposes
Information supports timetable scheduling, saving, editing and export; Store subscription, free-use and license verification; website delivery, troubleshooting and security; and user support, contracts and institutional purchasing.
4. Retention and deletion
Local timetable data may remain on the user’s PC until deleted through the app or file management. Website logs and inquiry records are retained for the period necessary for their purpose, then deleted or made difficult to identify. Legal retention duties may require longer storage. Microsoft’s retention periods follow its policies.
5. Third parties and service providers
Academic data is generally not shared externally. Microsoft Store is used for installation, payment, subscriptions, free use and license checks, and hosting providers may support the website. Providers may process necessary information under their own policies or contracts. Information may be provided where legally required.
6. Processing outside Korea
Microsoft and hosting providers may have servers or support operations outside the Republic of Korea, so account, transaction, diagnostic or access information may be processed abroad. Countries, transfer methods and retention periods depend on the providers’ services and privacy policies.
7. User rights
Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion or suspension of personal-data processing. Users can manage local timetable data through app or file deletion. Microsoft account, payment and subscription rights may need to be exercised through Microsoft’s account and Store support channels.
8. Security measures
We work to apply reasonable safeguards including local academic-data processing, minimized transmission, restricted access and software updates. No storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security. Users should secure their PC accounts and storage and take care when sharing sensitive files.
9. Children
CampusTimekeeper is designed for university department administration, not for children. It does not provide features intended to collect children’s personal information.
10. Changes
This policy may change with product features, external services or relevant requirements. Material changes will be reflected in the revision date and communicated through appropriate means.
